Impossible to miss at the northern end of the Lilliehöök Fjord, the Lilliehöökbreen glacier is one of the largest on Svalbard. The narrow fjord is often filled with icebergs of all shapes and sizes, created by calving ice from this immense glacier. Lilliehöökbreen is a glacier complex in Albert I Land and Haakon VII Land at Spitsbergen, Svalbard. It has a length of about 22 kilometers. The glacier debouches into Lilliehöökfjorden, and calved icebergs may fill large parts of the fourteen kilometer long fjord.

Deep in the fjord, the highly active Lilliehook Glacier awaits. Listen in awe to the growling as big chunks break off into the icy waters below. A Zodiac excursion to nearby Ny London, an abandoned mining settlement, provides an ideal place for a guided walk.
